I opened a file and duped blue channel.

After that I I leave in visible mode this new channel and red channel.

I like what I see so I want to make an image with this.

I´ve tried apply image, calculations and a couple of things more but nothing works. Is there a way to do this except from Print Screen?

Thanks in advance

:( Doesen´t work

An example:

Open a new file, fill it with 50% gray.

Go to channels, duplicate blue channel (in this case, duplicating red or green is just the same).

Click on the eye of the blue channel and now you see brown.

How can I keep that exact brown and paste it in a new layer?

Thanks.

Can't you simply delete the channels?

Edit: Sorry, that's stupid of me to say. Now that I went and tried it, my answer doesn't even make sense.

I've tried a few different things, and I believe it has something to do with the "channel mixer" in an adjustment layer.

2nd Edit: Oooh, I figured it out:
Step1: Create a new adjustment layer with "channel mixer"
Step2: The drop down menu should be reading "red"
Step3: Slide the 'blue bar' all the way to 50% (then press ohkay)
Step4: Merge the layers

Hope this does it for you

Hi Yacovitch, not exactly what I am asking for but getting closer. Surely the answer is coming from the channel mixer as you said. Thanks.

Sorry I can't think of any other way!
