Hi Would it be possible to turn this http://www.omegadm.co.uk/Untitled-4.gif image into a custom shape. I have tried selecting it and turning it into a work path, but this comes out very jaggy. I have tried to to trace around the middle symbols but my pen tool skills are not very good. Any suggestions would be appreciated. |

I would stick with just trying to go over it with the pen tool but as for the circle part you might find it easier to make a blue circle then make a smaller white circle, make sure you don't make the white circle (inside) over top of the blue one! move it later. |

What part don't you get? I used Illustrator to create the paths (I like the tools better). Then, imported the paths into Photoshop as a Shape Layer and "Defined Custom Shape..." Then saved it out on its own using the Presets Manager. |

There are tutorials availble, Mumford, for using the Pen Tools. I'm sure, if you're trying to learn them you've run across a few. I don't have any links handy, so you'll have to do your own legwork on this one. Then it's just a matter of practice, practice, practice. |
