how do you get color or paintbrush strokes (whatever you'd like to call them lol) to look watercolored? I saw a cool effect here http://www.10kcommotion.com/theTENKAYcomic/3-5thSTAGE/3-5thSTAGEindex.html (the main page is http://www.10kcommotion.com ) and i really like the way that they did the watercolor. I guess it was done in photoshop... any ideas guys? all help is appreciated, thanks a lot |

My guess is that they did the strokes on a wacomboard or similar and then added the colors in photoshop.....

Hey Supah: I don't know if this will help you, but I found these tutorials here. Check it out, it might have a little of what you're looking for. http://www.myjanee.com/tuts/painted2/painted2.htm This next one offers some free actions on turning photos into that cartoon look before you add watercolor. http://graphicssoft.about.com/library/free/blfree_psactions2.htm Maybe you can combine the two tutorials and make something of it, cuz I have no clue how to work this one...still learning ;) Hope this helps you some. Cheers!!! |
