I have an original file size 400x300. I select a portion of 200x300 at the left side and copy. Create a new file and paste. Back to the original I select the right portion 200x300 and copy. Create a new file and paste. ----------------------------------------- Here begins my problem: I need to save these files as pic001 and pic002. Is it possible to apply this to many originals ?(next files should be pic003, pic004, pic005, and so on). Thanks. |

http://www.teamphotoshop.com/forum/vbforum/search.php?s=&action=showresults&searchid=36341&sortby=lastpost&sortorder=descending Batching has been discussed several times before. Read thru a few threads. Basically you create an "action" (open the actions pallet, click that little arrow upper right corner - "new action" --> notice the record and stop buttons? Well do "EXACTLY" what you want, then hit stop. ) file--> automate --> batch, select a start directory, a stop directory, name convention, and which action to use. Voila. |
