I have seen in a photoshop book or a tutorial how u can cut a picture not with the lasso or extract tool. I think they replaced the colors... not sure. Any ideas to cut things from a picture? |

http://www.designsbymark.com/pstips/index.html Remove People out of Photos. I don't think that's exactly what you're looking for, but its a good technique nonetheless. |

Use my tutorial: http://trhaynes.ionichost.com/gendes/tut1/masktut1.html Also think about using a "layer mask". Its in the Layer menu. If you want, choose Layer Mask>Hide Selection... after you finish using the QuickMask mode to make a selection (from my tutorial.) Try it. tom |

I have seen a tutorial where they first make the obejct black so you get a selection around the object. And then you can cut it out... |
