Hi guys. I am a big fan of the software and experts of Photoshop and have recently acquired the software. I know diddly-squat about it but am training myself in the basics. My one important question is simple: If you decide to use a mouse (over using a pen) what are some recommendations on mouse use in Photoshop for those of us who really don't have a steady hand? Any help in this issue would be greatly appreciated and seriously accepted. P.S. I am a former freehand childhood artist.

for very specific bushstrokes learn how to use paths. paths are easy to do with mice, once you get good at the technique. then you can stroke the path with the brush and it looks like you painted it with a steady hand. that methods only good for a few strokes though. if you're gonna be painting a lot you might wanna invest in a tablet. i've never regretted spending the tons of money that i did on mine, its great.
