Hi there, I just saw this site http://www.dianagenelsalon.com/fees.html and loved the photoshop techniques utilized. I recognize a few, but not all. I'd like to get someone elses opinion about what's involved. I see drop shadows and some transparent gradients. What does everyone else see? Best, Chai |

I dont see too many drop shadows and only one gradient. Looks like some different colored shapes and a blended image. From a landscape to a mountain to a person. All sepia-toned and with white lines over it. I agree - looks very nice. tom |

Thanks for the looksey. Do you know how to get that sepia tone? I have been using color balance, but was thinking about transparnsy on another layer. Dunno. I do like that sepia/mocha going on.

Just compile a pallette of colors that are toned how you like. Or make it blue or something and then use color balance or hue/saturation to get the sepia. tom |

I see curves, gradients, and a pixel dot pattern. The header image is (actually not done too well) 3 images, supposedly blended by either applying a reflected gradient mask or just plain foreground (the sepia color) to transparent ref. gradient at the transitions. Then there's three columns of tables. You wouldn't need any layer styles for this, just blending modes where applicable - most likely Color.
