Black and White pics

I need to change this pic black and white without chnaging the other layers black and white. Im tryna make it look like a picture from the old days. Thanks

Duplicate image, change color mode to Grayscale, then back to RGB (it will have lost its color and will be B&W then.) Then copy that image or layer back into the original.

image --> mode --> grayscale.

Yeah that is a better method.... Just click colorize and adjust to black and white.

use the desaturate feature on that layer
