I dont know exactly what lines your talking about...but id suggest the paths. Here is exactly how to make that layout in 2 1/2 minutes: 1) Grab your rectangular marquee tool....make a small black rectangle across the top of the page. 2) Now use the marquee again to make a second rectangle underneath the black one (red color this time...about 3 or 4 times the height of the black one) 3) Now create a thin...long rectangle on the left side. Make it blue and have it overlap the red rectangle a little bit. 4) Grab your pen tool....now your going to draw from the bottom of the red square...to the top of the black on an angle (basically draw a white triangle on the right side of the layout) 5) Use the pen again and cut the corner off the bottom right side of the blue box. 6) To draw the lines...use your pen tool from the top left corner of the blue box...draw a diagonal to where you want it...draw a line going up a few pixels and complete the triangle shape @ the top left corner of the blue box. Do this 3 times ( a red shape...black shape and white shape) 7) Draw a blue square over a portion of your layout.... go to edit > transform > perspective and pull the bottom out so it looks like the box is coming towards you. Give it a sharp drop shadow (layer styles) and a stroke of white (left and top sides only) |
