I've had some trouble with retouching or changing out a picture on png files I've created and closed out of. If I want to redo just one element on a graphic, I thought there was a way to do this without starting from scratch. Hope you can help. P |

If you save for web, or as a tiff, all your layers will be "flattened." Always keep an extra copy of your original source file at hand as a .psd If that is what I am reading your question as? |

That's exactly what my question is and I have my original psd and png files. That's why I was pretty surprised not to be able to change out the pictures. Thanks for your reply. P |

Well you wouldnt be able to edit the .png file the way you want, but you could always edit the .psd file, then re save the image as a .png. Note, I am assuming you are using layers? |
