Why is it that when i choose a Pantone colour from my Pantone book, then go into Photoshop and select the same Pantone colour number, the CMYK breakdown in my book is different to the one that Photoshop tells me? I presume the breakdown in the book is the more accurate, but why the difference? Thanks Mark |

Are your printed Pantone swatchbook and your Photoshop swatch sets from Pantone both the newest available? There were some discrepancies that have been addressed. Unfortunately, not all of them have been... |

check between uncoated and coated, the breaks downs can be different to accomedate for the loss os "shine"
