pasting between Illustrator & Photoshop

Hi there,

I have hit a wall so to speak. I have always been able to copy images from Illustrator and paste them into photoshop seamlessly. Suddenly, this capability has gone bye bye. ANyone know of a reason or a setting that may have been tripped?

Which versions of Photoshop and Illustrator are you using?

I am using the most recent versions, PS 7.0 and IL 10.0.
