Hi people, What's up? I know this might've been posted a bunch of times before by others but... I wasn't around :D. Take a look at How are those waves done? Are they just a selection filled in or something more advanced? Thanks for any help. |

I belive that they maybe normal lines to try this you could umm say take the pen tool, and then stroke a like with the paint brush perhaps 2px ? then duplicate the layer and try some CRAZY motion blur around 8px then using the dodge/burn tools make it look lighter/darker in places then copy the umm layer that was motion blured and guassian blur it, and lower the layer opacity to around 50% or 30% I have no clue really but try something like that |

use the shear filter on a really long strip going vertically, and you can turn it however many times you like, then you can begin playing around with vertical motion blurs to get the soft look. http://uvkurse.com/rev2/movs/911.html theres a quicktime movie on there, if you watch the last piece on that movie, you can see somewhat similar lines, i made the original ones in PS, and animated them in AE, but is how i did it. just make sure to turn off the repeat option so you dont get abnormal edges. |
