I am new to photoshop, and I started a whole tutorial on Photoshop 7.0 and came across vectors....They seem pretty complicated, although I know how to use them, I would like to know what are vectors used for? Selections? Please let me know, and give me a sort of indepth explanation of what vectors can do. |

well as i understand vectors are lines/drawings that are based on mathematic formulas and not based on pixels like a photograph. thats as much as i can explain it.

illustrator is the undisputed VECTOR KING! or freehand, which ever you like better. they're very fun, and help alot when you want to make organic shapes. learn how to use the pen tool properly, and you will appreciate it more and more |
