Help with texture

Hey, I'm new to this forum and also fairly new to photoshop. I've been wondering how to make a certain type of texture and i finally got my hands on a good example. It's kinda small.



if anyone could tell me how to do something like this or a name for the type of texture (if there is one), that'd be great. thnx

It looks like a noised 3ds max shape overlayed over another noised 3ds max shape.

what shape could be noised to make all those lines?
