Here's the deal. I am a n00bie when it comes to creating websites in Photoshop and slicing them, exporting them etc. I had created a web page, sliced it up and had it imported from my WYSIWYG editor. However, I find that when I type quite an excessive length of text in my content cells, that were previously slices as they were deleted, my images go weird. I have attempted to rectify this problem a dozen times, but I have had no luck. I want it so that my content cells accompanied by images expand if the text spans more than its default length without the images going weird.

I am currently using Photoshop 7.0, Image Ready 7.0 for slicing and Macromedia Dreamweaver MX.

I have uploaded the page with the problem, unsliced as a jpeg file. You can find the file here - http://www.infernodesigns.co.uk/website.jpg

If you know of any good tutorials or have any demo work that you could show me relating to this issue, I would be very grateful.

Thanks

It's kinda hard to explain but I'm feeling generous and I'll help you out give me about a day, I'll slice them for ya

By the way, when I use the slice tool in photoshop I usually have to go back and modify my tables to make all the text fit, etc

Thanks X-Fusion, that was A LOT of help. Thank you ;)

However, I came across another problem. How would I make it so that the columns do not influence each other? Just say I'm typing quite a lot of content in the "navigation" part of my website which is the column on the left hand side. All the other columns as a result, expand with it. How would I stop that?

Thanks again

I'm not sure what you are talking about but, first, the column must have specfic length defined like 200 pixel then you type. if the column still expand I suggest you use line break, after typing almost enough for the column to expand, insert < br > (with no space) to avoid that

What I would do is make three different tables. One for the header, one for the navbars on the left, and one for the two content boxes. Then the navbars wont stretch.
