I am looking to make a wave just like the one seen here:

Wave

I want to put the lite blue wave over an image and then cut the image's bottom in the wave to white.

Any ideas?

Thanks! :D

Pen tool has got to be one of the more simpler tools in that tool box ...

Also, why have them start bad habits. Start using ALL the tools as I had when I started and you won't end up doing stuff the long and hard way.

pen tool >>

First, draw the two finish point you want

._________________________________. << looks like that

add anchor or whatever in the middle to make the curve shape

.______._______.________.________.

After you make the anchors just bent them to the way you want
then right click on the curve you made and choose fill the region or stroke, up to you now, gj

If you require more help with Pen tool, a fellow forum member of ours (heathrowe) has a great tutorial on them (4 of them!).

They're in order of increasing difficulty so go through them one by one and get acquainted with this useful little tool.
