Kpt Upgrade 5.0.1 Found

Hello, Just wanted to share this as It took me quite a while to find. Essential for the "Pank Metal" tut. Well here it is.

I kinda dont understand it..... They say KPT 5.0 is the best, which is what I have but they have a lot newer version which suppose be better like you would prefer photoshop 7.0 than the previous verison

The main (good) versions of KPT are "5, 6 and 7". For the tutorials on teamphotoshop, you need KPT 5.0.1. Kpt 5.0.1 is just an update for version 5. It is not a different version of KPT (JUST AN UPDATE). You will find that if you try and do the "Pank Metal Technique" with just version 5.0, you won't be able to use the presets in the tutorial. Once you update it to 5.0.1 with just a little file, then it works ;)

Oh thanks one more thing, can you have KPT 5 and 7 plugin in photoshop at the same time? Or later version simply going to ugrade the old version?

By the way, I use KPT 5 and eye candy They are rarely useful to me becaues I'm not yet very advanced

A newer version of KPT does not replace the older one and vice versa, so yes you can have two versions running at the same time. I am using both 5 and 7 currently.

You do not have to have advanced ability for KPT. I have eyecandy 4000 also, but I think it's rubbish really. KPT is definitely useful. BTW try downloading the PRESETS in the Pank Metal tutorial - they are priceless :D, especially for interfaces

Yes I have to agree KPT is great for interface, 3D looking effects, materializer, it's just too much stuff, I'm still twaking with photoshop filters, about eyecandy 4000 it's really not that useful except couple filters.
