I try to change my color settings but no luck. I changed my RGB settings to my monitor's default, and that corrected them, but my grayscale images have a redish tint to them. Can someone point me to a place where I can download a new color management file?

Here is what I mean...

Greyscale in Photoshop

Greyscale in Paint Shop Pro

Can anyone help a guy out? I usually can find my own way in Photoshop but this just has me vexed beyond belief.

I would keep the color profile the default as it is and dont set to monitor color. By the way, that's a problem when you use 2 graphic software together, I just use photoshop by itself.

Yes, but after that I changed the RGB color to my monitor's, as the colors were very saturated and it didn't look quite right. Grayscale is Photoshop's default though. Whenever I save an image using save for web or what have you, the image is produced in normal gray. It's only inside the application that I see this red tinge. I remember our systems at school using ATI rage pro cards had this problem, and as of a few weeks ago I'm also on an ATI card, a 9800 Pro. I fixed this problem at school by selecting another profile, but that doesn't seem to work for me in this case. Oh well, at least I can preview it with the "save for web" feature to make sure it's coming out as I had intended.

Thanks for your help.
