Just wanted to ask if there are any tutorials on how to make a website in photoshop. Is it a good idea to do this?

I've tried to make a site layout in PS, then sliced it up and exported it to dreamweaver. I have a layout consisting of two navigational bars on each side and a main content cell in the middle. I deleted slices where I wanted content to be.
The problem I encounter is that if I want to type a lot of content in my main content cell in the middle, my images go muffed and all over the place. As a result of this, I usually have to make sure that I do not type content to the extent that it spans down more than the table can hold. Any ideas on this issue?

Very simple use Iframes in the content table cell that way it will not expand past your images and you can make it so that it only loads the images once for the whole session.
This happens because when a visitor clicks a link it loads in the Iframe thus not realoading the whole page

Hope that helps

Thanks for your help. However, I HATE FRAMES. I know you can get rid of 'scrolling' so it would like a normal page, but still...

Thanks for your help though!
Any more ideas?

I use photoshop for web site design and switch to image ready for slice and rollover designs........ I just slice and optimize them into html file and put contents and stuff in the page

If the navigation bars can repeat (like a pattern), use CSS on the tds to make it repeat. Or have one portion at the bottom (different cell) that can repeat/has a height of 100%.

tom

PS I have a problem thats similar but there are no images
