Making Pixel graphics.....

Ok, I got a problem. When I am in photoshop, and do the 1 pixel brush it still really doesnt do one pixel. I will click it once,and there will be like 1 pixel and then some transparent pixels around it also,is there anyway I can just get it do 1 pixel only???

Choose the Pencil tool, not the brush tool. Just hold down on the brush button, and it will let you choose the pencil tool.
