hey I have a pic with my girlfriend but the day that we took it it was raining a lot so it looks like there was water on the lens or inside the lens or something. And I know it wasnt the place that we took the photos to develop because its just the photos of that day that are messed up all other photos are find and its all the photos of that day. The photos have some dark streaks on them over my girlfriends face as well as in other places in the photos like if water was running down the lens. I wanna know how I can fix this

You can't since there's no actual instance it. The camera took the picture with the water droplets and that's that. You really can't recreate or fix something that wasn't there in the first place. It's like asking if you can remove clothing off someone in a photo since it got in the way of the real goods. Depending on how severe the streaks are, there is a very slight chance of being able to fix it. But you did say that it was covering your girlfriend's face, and you can't really fix that up. |

Like !mo0chan! said. PS is amazing, but you can replace what isnt there. Your best bet, if its not too severe is try to patch the photo up with your clone tool or the healing brush. However, if the water is covering things like eyes, nose, mouth, fine details, it increases the difficulty tremendously. If these pics are just for web or your comp, try patching it up, but if its for print, you're more then likely out of luck and will have to settle with what you have. |

Not so sure as the two posters above, it would help if you can post a preview of the problem. www.retouchpro.com is going to be your best bet for some pro advice, you could also try the forum in dp review.

your best bet is goin with the clone stamp, healing brush, or patch tool. also, if the streaks are in your girlfriends eyes/nose or anything like that, and you have some other pictures, maybe you could try swapping the eyes?
