I'm not new too Photoshop, but this IS a basic question and it's driving me nuts. In Photoshop 6, adjusting brush parameters including hardness was easy, but in Photoshop 7, I can't seem to find where these settings are. I have been through the brush palette several times and have found everything BUT basic brush parameters such as hardness and angle. I cannot imaging where they might have moved this or even if they are still accessable. ARGH!!! Someone HELP!!! Thanx in advance! |

Um, never mind... after searching for about 15 mins, I found the answer... for all those looking at this post, open the brush palette and... all of the text on the left side of the palette... you can click on it to open and adjust settings. It is NOT obvious... so I don't feel too stupid... but stilll, I mean GEEEEEZ Adobe... could you make it any more difficult too find???

Manual. Online help files. Quick reference card. Exploring every feature. Regularly attending to these fonts of knowledge will soothe your journey and ease your way. Sensei says: "Do not complain about changes outside self, for you have no control of them. Rejoice in self's ability to adapt to outside changes, and fluorish in their power." |

lol ? Setting brush options -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You can define a number of options for the default brushes. For custom brushes, only the name, spacing, and anti-aliased options can be changed. To set brush options: 1 Do one of the following: To edit the current brush, click the brush sample in the options bar. To edit a different brush, select the brush you want in the pop-up palette, then click the brush sample in the options bar. 2 Set the options for Diameter, Hardness, Spacing, Angle, and Roundness. For custom brushes, enter a new name if desired, then set the options for Spacing and Anti-aliased. online help strikes again! help/contents/SEARCH/ |
