I was wondering how i get the following 3dbar in photoshop, starting with just a plain bar. the picture: thanks |

Just play about with the bevel etc, Atleast try before you ask And sorry to moan more but this is the wrong forum, :D

hmm yes it is it should b in the n00bie part, yeh add bevel and then a tad o shadow |

you wont get it picture perfect , keep trying if your that bothered but i think that attempt is gd imo

even though you like a style of a website (for example) i wouldnt try and copy it straight out, just do something like it, and make sure it fits wiv your layout. sorry if that doesnt apply to what you're doing but it might help you rethink plans (or designs) |

don't use bevels bevels are stupid use the selection too and some gradients. |

Not even. Just a selection tool and a paint bucket. The only thing you'd need a gradient for is the shadow. Or, you could just have a black bar underneath that's gaussian blurred. |

thanks, ofcourse i will not copy exact. no, no bevel, i used layer options and then all those options except bevel and some other ones |
