Hii, I've had a computer crash. I can't open Photoshop. It doesn't matter much though I've installed it on a new computer, but... I had made some styles that I would like to copy to new version. Is there a way to get these files, remember I can't start Photoshop and just export them :( I need to find their location and manually copy them to the new version. any help will be greatly appreciated |

Search through your H/D for them, if you have installed it on C drive then the path will most likely be similiar to this: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop 7.0\Presets\Styles Good luck. |

Hii hermit, I found what you told me, but I can't test it cause the version I'm currently using is 6 and the styles are from 7. But it doesn't matter cause I'll soon be back to 7, but first I need to format my computer so I need to be certain that this is the files before I delete anything. Are you possitive that this where the styles you add your self end up? ThanX |

Well in truth they would end up wherever you put them (not meant as sarcastic reply) but they would probably default to the styles folder. You need to make sure that you saved the individual styles, Photoshop does not automatically save them for you - so unless you saved them specifically you will more than likely have lost them. The Adobe Help Files probably has some info. on saving them etc. |
