Hey, i'm in the process of changing the background on a photograph with a group of people in it. I'm running into problems with making the people look like they aren't just cut out, the edges seem to sharp, though im trying to go over them with a soft brush. The process so far is: i took the photograph, and the background that I want it to be on. The photograph is on the top layer & the background is under it, and i've just used a layer mask on the photograph to reveal the background i need. The background is a photograph as well, taken from the same position as the group photo was taken from, so that the lighting and everything is the same. Any suggestions on making it blend better?

you might want to try feathering the selection of the ppl just a bit then invert selection and delete that way the edge fades to transparent rather than leaving shart pixel edges. hope tht helps |
