I have a real question this time!

Ok so you guys have gotten to know me a little bit more. I have a "real" question this time. Keep in mind..this is probably so simple and I am totally overlooking it..but here goes!

I need to know how to place a "star" (or any image really) over something I am tryng to hide. If anyone doesn't understand what I mean by that..let me know.

Use the custom shape tool. (U)

Then up at the top of the screen you can see a thing that says Shape: and then an icon of the shape that is currently selected. Click the little arrow beside that, to select other shapes. If the star you need is not there, click on the arrow pointing to the right and choose "Shapes" on that menu, which will load the shapes that have the star in it.

ok deker..I'm a total moron...where the heck is the "shape" button? I went through file, edit, image etc..didn't see it listed there? any ideas? thanks deker

It's on the tool bar. Below the text tool, and to the right of the Pen tool, and above the eyedropper tool. Or you can just press U on your keyboard. You may have to click and hold it, and choose the Custom Shape tool from that flyout menu, because it is grouped with the rectangle tool, Eclipse tool, etc.

whew..i found it..will be back if in like 3 hours I can't figure out how to actually get it on the picture! Thank you so much deker!!

a star to hide something on a pic.. sounds like a pornsite preview to me, then again thats just me :-p

OK Ok I give! I found the "shapes" thingy..but now I can't figure out how to actually place the image on the picture?
I'm sorry for having such boring newbie questions!!:D
