Just want to know if there is something easier. I always mess 'em up and it just screws up the whole project!!! Please let me know!! |

lime green writing on a light gray background makes me squint too much to look at your question.

why use the magnetic lasso? Just take a bit time and cut it yourself, either with the pentool or with some of the other lassos? |

well, you can set some options when using the magnetic lasso, I think. Like how sensitive the "magnet" is to variations in colour values etc etc. Try playing around with them..or, as I said "do it the hard but certain way", and you have 100% control of what the shape of the selection will be.

The B00bmaster speaks the truth. The magnetic lasso tool is something I have found myself never using. There are much more effective ways to select. But kudos to you for doing the tutorials. Its so nice to see someone actually trying to learn and not just coming in asking a question everytime they open the software. |

Well, try to use alternately photoshop and photodeluxe. I do this, open in Photoshop, perform some actions, save, re-open in photodeluxe, save, return. Magnetic lasso and clone tool (rubber stamp) are much better in photodeluxe. calin |
