How to make PS7 NOT open certain file types.

When I was reinstalling Photoshop 7 it asked me what kind of filetypes should it open, me being somewhat foolish checked .gif and .jpg along with all the default ones.

How do I make it not do that?

I went through all of the preferences, and found nothing.

I mean, I can always just reinstall it... but is there an easier way?

Im going to assume your on windows....

You could first select a gif or jpeg file (single click...or "highlight" the file). Now with the file highlighted...hold shift and right click. Select "open with" in the menu. When the dialog pops up...select the app you want and check the "alway use" box at the bottom. That will reassociate the file with another prog.

The longer way: Go into Folder Options / File Types. Select gif and jpeg formats and click edit. There you can change the app association manually with the open action.
