So you dont want the skin to look wet right?

If thats the case then just use the clone brush (small soft brush...low opacity) and use local colors from the skin to paint over any highlights. I say low opacity because you dont want to completely get rid of the highlights...you just want to dim them down. Skin itself isnt really reflective. If you see a highlight its usually because some form of moisture (oil..water..sweat etc.).

Also just for some info.......the harder the edge on the highlight....the wetter something looks.
