Ok here's the deal; everytime i use the line tool or pen tool, the end result is always jagged looking. Perfect vertical or horizontal lines are made no problem, but any 45 degree lines are coming out jagged . What's up with this?

I'm not sure but i think you need to have "antialias" checked in the tool's options

Good question, because I never have trouble with 45degree angles. With like a 72 degree angle, yes, it's going to be jagged off the bat., but a 45 degree angle takes up a straight line of pixels..........same as a horizontal or vertical line. But if you're sitting at 640 x 480 display, you're gonna' see those little pixels. |
