save in icon format

i want to make my own icons and i need to save the images in icl (icon format). does anyone know a plugin or somthing that will let me do that? thx.

save it as a bmp first .. then reopen it in mspaint and choose save as, then just put whatever extension you want

.ico for windows I believe. If that doesnt work (it should though) search google for icon making programs. There are tons of free ones on the net.
