Have you guys ever seen those 3d looking pictures of software boxes on the internet to advertise software. They look like 3d boxes, and on the largest side showing it is usually an image of the product/software. It is sort of hard to explain, but I'm sure you guys have seem them around somewhere. I guess an easy way to describe it would be "How do I make a 3d box in photshop and paste an image on one of the sides?".

Grab a pencil and paper and try drawing a box. Now do the same thing with the line tool. If you cant draw a box, PS is waaaay to advanced for your skills right now. Go take a drawing class, then work your way to the computer.

Free Transform; Render 3D.

If I need to explain any further, see Spectra's advice about studying more.

lol. yeah, basically it sounds like you picked up a pencil and wondered why you couldn't paint like picasso. it'll take time and practice, but given utopian's advice there isn't really anything else to tell ya except keep messin around and youll get it.

If you're seeing the top and side, the front will not appear as a perfectly square rectangle.

Seriously, dig up some info on perspective drawing (with a ruler, pencil and paper). Learn about vanishing points and how to use them.

There are two perspective tutorials Here, at Phil Williams' Eyewoo.com site that may help.
