Is there a way to copy mulitipy layers at the same time?

im not sure by what u mean, but what u can do is in the layers box, drag the layer u wish to copy onto the new layer icon at the bottom and it will automatically copy. here is what the newlayer icon looks like just incase ur not sure. >

No, not as far as I know. You must either copy the layers one by one, or merge the layers and then copy them. |

thats what I thought. What I do is make an object that let say has 6 layers to it. I want to then copy that object to other parts of my graphic. I dont want to flatten the layers just incase I want to change something in it later. ok thanks guys:(

To copy multiple layers at once; Link the layers. Go to the arrow at the upper right of the layers palette and select New Set From Linked. This will put the layers into a Layer Set folder. Grab the folder and drag it to the make set icon. Greg |
