I have a banner with these two pentagon things, and i would like to know how (in imageready) do i make them rotate. I want them to keep turning but don't know how.. Anyone know? if so please tell.

If you want to rotate them like a 3d banner, then you need to make the image for each step of the rotation. PS and IR are 2d programs. But what you need to do is check out making animated gif's in IR. That is the only way to make anything move in IR for the web.

the thing with gif is the image doesnt ACTUALLY rotate. it just looks like it does. the best thing you could do is make 5/6 images for 1 full rotation (depends on shape). You'l need to rotate (to be precise) the shape by 360/F (where F is the number of frames) that way when "F" number of frames are up, it is back to the beginning. and increase frame-switch rate (how long it takes to go to next frame) that way it'l apear to rotate smoothly. hope that helps. |
