Resizing problem

I am having a problem resizing screen grabs. I basically need to be able to take a screen grab and then take it into photoshop to make it smaller. Whichever method of resampling I use it either distorts the image or feathers it slightly. I know I could use the unsharp mask to try and get some sharpness back but this still isn't satisfactory.

Is there a way of making a screen grab smaller but still keeping the absolute crisp edges?

No, when you resize stuff it will distort it and lose detail. No way around it.
