Okay, I've been using 'stroke' to create borders for some shapes and stuff. But it's caused a downside - I don't know how to get rid of borders for certain sides - in this case, I'm trying to remove the top border for a shape, is it possible to do this while keeping the stroke or should I make a border with the line tool instead? |

Its pretty easy to just delete it using a selection tool. But yes you can use the line tool, but the select and stroke is usually faster.

Make the stroke in a seperate layer then erase whatever parts you don't want to flatten image.
