K, here is my completly tedios way of makeing images with fonts over them.... 1. Edit that graphic in photoshop. 2. Open that graphic in Flash MX, and add vector boxes, and flash friendly pixel fonts. 3. Export flash file 4. Open .swf in browser and take screen shot 5. Open screen shot in photoshop and cut it up.... Wow, what an effort..and thats just my left nav. However, I CANNOT replicate the same clean navigation using fonts in photoshop... Any suggetions as to what I'm doing wrong?? http://www.hward.com |

In Photoshop click the button that has a big "T" on it. Or did I misunderstand? |

Deselect the anti-aliased option, and have the font size a multiple of the base pixel font size.

if you're talking about pixel fonts you should take anti-aliasing off, in my version (6) its none, crisp, strong, smooth, (i think) just set it to none for pixel fonts, and crisp for everything else..... unless i misunderstood |

LOL...yeah...I gues what i'm asking is: How do I get 8pt fonts to be really clear in photoshop. For some reason mine are very soft. Your sig. for example...is that done in Photoshop? The font is really crisp.. |

Is that the "a a" thing in the font menu? Like set it to "none". |

Oh!! I got that by trying out the little modes for each font. The pull down menu that's labeled "a a". I just went through all 5 to find the best one. |
