I'm working on an image, and in it, theres a sideview of a building, see that image here The bulindg right behind the guys, I want to add some graffiti like type to it. Like type something, then make it look like it was sprayed on there, not just typed. Can anyone tell me how, or point me to a tutorial? Thanks.

I would find a free graffiti font ( i know there are a bunch out there...just surf the net) and once i type my words...set it to "overlay" or "hard light" (or similar...experiment with the modes). This will give it texture so it looks like its part of the wall. Next play with the "perspective" transform to fit it onto the wall. Then you could use maybe wind filter (slightly) and/or noise to give it a paint kinda look. Next you could go over it (lightly..maybe just on the edges) with a brush (grunge brush...just surf the net again). Thats pretty much the idea of it. Ive done this before ( i made a nightclub render in 3d max...and for the walls i did this kinda effect ) and it looked pretty convincing. Hopefully some of that is helpful!! |
