I'm creating a logo for a client and need some help. I want to make a road, two lanes, looking at it from an angle, or as If I was looking DOWN on it from an angle? Get what I mean. I'm trying to make it look like a comic drawing and don't know how to start. Any ideas?

Client. OK, I'll bite. Is this "client" your grandma or your little sister? If you'd only take the time to properly learn the tools and how they all work like every good Photoshop newbie is supposed to you would continue asking these asinine questions. You've been at it for enough time now that this should be rather easy for you. But nooooo....you want everyone here to teach you how to fashion an aircraft carrier and all you know how to do is fold up a sheet of aluminum foil. You should be beyond asking questions like this by now. RTFM. Ask your Mom and Dad to mortgage a clue for you. Take a freakin' class, fer crissakes. What part of "Learn the basics so you can figure some of this stuff out on your own" don't you understand? A little slow on the uptake, are ye? |

I haven't read all of his posts and all that you've said to him, but I think you're being a little harsh, don't you? tom |

Tom, Don't even bother - there's something up his ass. Utopian, do you really think I'm a dummy or something and I just ask question out of the blue - sure I'm new to this stuff, but I know how to use the photoshop tools properly, and when I ask a question like this one, I just want to know the proper way of doing things. You've been riding my * ever since I got here - time for you to jumpoff and make some friends. My apologies to everyone but I had to say it to him. |

You want to draw a road? Then just draw a road... there aren't filters that draw things for you. Just picture it in your head and redraw it in photoshop. Use the pen tool. Really... if you want to draw stuff you have to be able to draw. |

Sometimes you need to draw the points of perception. (bring you back to high school art classes?) Find where the start and end points are, where you want to view it from. Its a perspective thing. Sometimes if I have something in mind and I am not sure I hit google and search 'images'. You'd be surprised what you can find. At least it gives you something to reference from. |

Being genetically slow-witted I can abide, but I waste no shame on pummeling on the capable but uncurious. You, Sharif, fall into that category. You certainly seem to have the smarts, but you're lazy and unadventurous. If you continue that way you will always be the one asking the questions, while the rest of the ambitious world passes you by. Hmmm, maybe I DO feel sorry for you and your position. |

Frogsgs, That's what I want to make but it should be from an angle looking down on it - sort of like if you were viewing it from a side, like looking down TOWARDS the road on a helicopter. |
