convert psd into html

hi,

I am very new to photoshop. I have a photoshop website template and I would like to convert it into a html file.

Can you actually do this ??? I want to edit the html file with Dreamweaver.

One more question :: why do they have photoshop templates ?? Is it just to show you or what ???

If u have made a web site design in PS, i suggest u got to image ready and slice and dice it up the way u think is best then.... uhm.. export is it? as html and open it in DW.
