Furthur help needed as continued from this post: http://www.teamphotoshop.com/photoshop/tutorials/techniques/planet/planet.php What I would like to know is how the person who wrote the tutorial managed to do this: Edit: Transform: Scale to shrink the texture down into a much smaller area? Thanks! Huijun |

I don't know if I realy know what your problem is, but here's my answer. First, the texture should be on a layer, shouldn't be the background. Now, when you use the transform> scale tool a box appears around you image. Use the corners and the sites, where you see a little square, to shrink the image. Hold shift to keep the right shape. Hope this was it! :D |

What version are you running? And are you working in RGB mode?

6.0 and in RGB mode. Am a little confused :before I apply any actions, should I put a new layer? IMO,I don't think there is a need for it since it won't be used but what's ur opinion? Also,in the first screenshot for Step 3,I can see Layer 2 and Layer 2 copy. Therefore,I'm trying to figure out where or when the first layer was used. |

Do you have the whole texture selected? I think it should work when you do select>all |
