hello wel im making an enter pager for my site and I already made the background so how would I add the two pictures I want and completely take the background out only leaving the characters and den pasting them on my background adding the name of my site and den da WORD ENTER umm so my frend told me to crop it so wat does this mean the cropping technique wat is it and how will I get this altogether!

Are the objects on different layers? If not, then they should be in the master document.

Well your question is really confusing, it might be english translation that is jumbled, but If your objects are on different layers you just use what layers you need or dont. If you dont want the Background,then hide it. IF you want more pictures, then paste them on a new layer....

Im saying what do you mean by layouts im a newbie you no and umm how do i hide it for the characters only visibla and not the background

Window --> Layers.... This is your best friend in Photoshop. You should always have this open. (you can hit "TAB" and it will hide all floating menus. then hit "TAB" again to bring them back.) note:this is on a PC, MAC, not sure what the key is. The littlecheck box next to the layer shows or hides it. Now when you open a new document the one layer you see (if it has only one layer) is default and is locked. Just drag that layer to the little "new" icon on the bottom of that layer pallet and delete the old one. Now you have an editable copy of the default layer |

By default your background layer is locked and you cant edit it. So I usually copy it, then delete it. Now you can show or hide it, edit it, etc.
