For starters...the main bulk of the picture is usually made in a 3d program (its a cube..or some shape with fractal noise applied to it). It can be faked by using the polygonal lasso tool to mimic those triangular shapes...then duplicating that layer many times and rotating each shape. Next with what looks like the lasso tool..the edges of the shape are selected and the "color half tone" filter is applied to the selection.

Yeah, it's definately a 3D shape noised or something. Look on www.deviantart.com under tutorials >>> 3ds max There ones similar to that there. And if you don't have 3ds max, then I can't help you. |
