Can anyone tell me how to make this "Shadow" effect on text. You can see an example on this site. http://www.thedesigner.co.uk/zero3/ It is located in the buttom left corner. Also on the front page of the pdf-zine. I have tried to create a shape containing the text I want to make a shadow on, but I can't seem to get it right. thanks in advance |

well first, it's not a shadow really..it's more like a 3D effect on the text itself, no? Anyway, I'd do it like this; Copy the text layer, rasterize the new layer. Tone it to the color you want (darker cream in this case), and copy the new layer, moving the newest layer a bit to the left / down. Merge the two newer layers, then repeat untill you have the depth of the effect you want. |

I'm guessing it's that too, although *puts on asshole - glasses* that technique gives a wrong perspective on the 3D thingies. *gets shot* |

Thanks for your replies. The first choice worked fine for me. So silly I didn't think about that. |
