ok I have done a harddrive format, and I have hundreds of brush sets that I have to load back into Photoshop. Is there a way to load all brushsets into Photoshop at once, or do I really have to load every single set, one by one....that will take me hours :/ I tried drag & drop, but that didn't work, there has to be a way to save me from hours of work!! Please help me hehe |

This Is A Shot In The Dark...click the little arrow in brushes panel, then load brushes. Now drag and select all the brushes, then click ok.

I've tried that satanclaus, Photoshop will only let me select one brush set at a time, so there is no way I can select all sets and load them all at once :( I've even tried to drag all the sets from a file explorer window, that didn't work either!

Program note: Just like Layer Style presets, Custom Shapes, Gradients and Fonts, Brushes load into RAM when you launch Photoshop. All of that makes Photoshop use more RAM than is really prudent, and can slow it down in general. The smartest strategy is to load only those "at-launch" items that you use ALL the time, and load others only when you need them. Learn to love the Preset Manager and create Custom Workspaces that you can switch between. I can't imagine any situation where one would need to load hundreds and hundreds of brushes (or gobs of layer styles presets, or every font, gradient and custom shape they have on their system) for their everyday work |

True. Categorize your brushes, that way you can use certain ones when you need them, and wont have to load hundreds. I have a lot of fonts - which I don't even use. perhaps I should zip up the older-unused ones and unzip them when i need them.
