You can probably buy it on www.adobe.com Warez isn't supported here, if you want to stay on this forum... don't mention it again. |

Check places like Buy.com, MySimon.com, perhaps even Amazon...comparison shop and you'll find the best prices. Illustrator is an amazing piece of software...I rely on it every day. You might also want to go to The Publishing Perfection website and have a look around. Then, sign up and have them start delivering catalogs. I always love seeing one of them waiting when I go check my mailbox...lots of cool graphics stuff to drool over and dream about. For me, it's like a big, Xmas-time toy catalog for grownups! There are always a few sitting on the shelf in my bathroom! :D :D :D  |

No big selling super cool amazing graphics program is free. You have to pay to express yourself. Thats why I use illustrator at school, my pockets have been empty for almost 2 years :|

go to Ebay and buy and old FULL version then buy the update. Much cheaper... Or if you are a student you can get a student version much cheaper but you cannot use it for profit.

Just make sure be a smart, careful and skeptical shopper if buying an "Old" version from any online auction. Ask questions of the seller, and look at the satisfaction ratings posted by other buyers who have dealt with the seller you're considering doing business with. Any reputable seller with nothing to hide should be happy answering any question you have. If you get incomplete answers or if you feel the seeler is trying to "Hide" anything, that should throw up a red flag warning you that the person may be less-than-reputable. If you decide to go through with the purchase, make sure you pay by escrow so that—before your payment is released to the seller— you can inspect the package to make sure all of the original contents are present, and that a call to the software's customer support line confirms that the serial number is legal and that you can register it. Too many people have been burned buying software in an auction, only to find out that it's illegal and/or otherwise non-registerable, making them ineligible for support or reduced-cost upgrades. |

Student versions aren't always upgradeable either. Part of the stipulation of only paying a $100 for a full software version that would usually be 6-7 times that.
