ok, is there an easier way to cut an image out of it's background other then using paths? please point me in the right direction.

I tend to use Extensis "mask pro" but there are several other masking plug-ins available. But really you still end up makeing a path, its just alot easier to end up getting rid of what you want (for me anyway) to use a 3rd party masker. |

using photoshop 5 goto image/extract or goto www.designsbymark.com for the tutorial.

In my experience there is no easy way to do this. If you want it done reeaaaaaal nicely, you have to use a combination of different techniques. Using paths is one way. In the end I always find myself down to using the eraser tool. Getting pixel by pixel, the way I want it to. Maybe I'm wrong. Guys, correct me if I'm doing it the hard way... |
