My guess is: he desaturated the image, then used: image --> adjust ---> posterize then made an color adjustment layer and filled that with red. or he cranked up the brightness and contrast of the photo... *edit* yes he did. http://symposium.sidez.net/stuff/psquestion.jpg select the part of the image you want to work on, desaturate it, posterize it, crank up the contrast... make a new layer, fill it with that red and put the layermode to 'lighten'. I think my steps are clear enough... did you actually open photoshop and try it? Really, all the steps are in there. Just try it. it won't hurt. |
