Explain stitch. You want two pictures to fade into each other? You want stitch marks? You want hard edges on the two?

More clarification will lead to some help here.

By Stitching images I mean for exaple you have a panoramic view made up of two pictures or more and you want to join them together.

Create a new image big enough to hold them and copy/paste them into it.

oh - that can be done - you have to be careful when you take the images - keep the same point of view, and take a sequence of images so that they will overlap a little - how can I explain this -
it's like this - let's say that your two pictures are represented by strings of numbers - 1234567891011121314...... - the two consecutive images should look like this:

12345678910
............891011121314

then you copy both on the canvas with the overlapping parts matching ... the one on top -the second, will have a transparency mask on it - with a little work you should be able to stitch them...
